The colors of your Martian sunset differ from those on the planet. Mars has a thin ambiance, missing oxygen and nitrogen, so the light scattering just isn't dominated by a Rayleigh Scattering system. In its place, the air is stuffed with purple dust, blown in the atmosphere by superior winds,[22] so its sky colour is mainly determined by a Mie Scat
